The art of being present

Slow-timacy is a weekly affordable heartbeat, a get-together where we explore the realms of conscious relating, intimacy, and sexuality. However, it's not just an ordinary event; it's an enticing blend of mystery, curiosity, and the embrace of the present moment. At its core, Slow-timacy is about creating a nurturing community while meeting one’s self in full presence.

Delving into the Experience

Have you ever yearned to truly immerse yourself in the moment, engaging with all facets of your being at your own pace during intimate interactions? To authentically connect right here and now...

Often, we navigate life on autopilot, racing at a speed incongruent with our inner world. We miss out on the richness of emotions and sensations as we rush from one experience to the next.

In those intimate moments, we overlook not just bodily sensations but parts of ourselves as well. Slow-timacy provides a unique space where we deliberately decelerate, allowing us to delve into the sensations in our bodies, each connected to our deepest essence.

As we move at a slower pace, we can focus on these feelings and give voice to every part within us. By connecting with all the facets that coexist in the present, we attain inner serenity and can form more profound connections, first with ourselves and then with others and our surroundings.

Our aim is to be fully present, not only within ourselves but also in intimacy. The path to such profound presence begins with slowing down and attentively listening to our senses and the body's responses to our experiences.

  • “Before attending the workshop, I was concerned about how Gal’s facilitation would be, as I'm somewhat allergic to spiritual jargon and facilitators who put themselves in the centre. after the workshop, I asked my boyfriend, how it was, and he said he felt that the workshop managed itself. In my eyes, this is a significant characteristic of Gal. His ability to navigate emotional depth and connection, and create a safe and meaningful experience, without making himself the centre of attention and letting what happens in the moment simply unfold. that allowed me to be fully engaged in my process. I highly recommend the workshop to anyone looking for a space of growth that feels safe. I will attend more workshops.“

  • “I came out with a new tool for dealing with my anxiety. At the beginning of the workshop, Gal said that if something doesn’t feel right, we always have ourselves to come back to. to our body, to our centre. if that's not enough, then we always have the earth that is always there to support us, no matter how difficult the situation is. As someone who is dealing with anxiety, realise that there is a resource that is accessible to me at all times, that I can lean on, that I actually can sit on the earth for a moment and feel her support, instead of falling into an infinite loop, is something small that I take with me from the workshop into my life.”

  • “I went to the Slow-timacy workshop without knowing exactly what to expect because it was my first time engaging in such an experience. even before I registered, Gal was available, nice, and answered all my questions. The workshop was enjoyable, inspiring, and challenging just at the right level for me, the atmosphere was very relaxed. I think I received excellent basic tools on how to approach future experiences, and I also met great people. Highly recommended - 5 stars!”

  • “I attended Gal's workshop twice, and both times my heart expanded even more. I often find myself in spaces of exploration and expansion, and Gal brings something a little different a confident voice that combines gentleness and authority. It was a fun, engaging, demanding, and informative experience, all at a pace that suited me very well.“

  • “I'm really happy that I got to experience this workshop ❤️🙏 , Gal, in my eyes, you are a great facilitator—attentive and containing. You created a comfortable space where I could surrender and bring myself authentically and with blessings into the diverse experiences we had in the workshop. I especially liked that throughout the workshop, you encouraged us to be attentive to ourselves and participate only in a way that suits us—a crucial aspect for me as part of my recent practice of slowing down and listening to what is right for me at the moment. I felt in the workshop that I was in a safe place, and it allowed the special connections we created as a group 🤗 Thanks for the immense heart you brought that allowed us to open our hearts too 🥰“

Wisdom of the Circle

Wisdom of the Circle

Slow-timacy is more than an event; it's a vibrant, supportive community that fosters curiosity, mystery, and the wisdom of the circle. It is an opportunity to engage with sensitive, like-minded individuals who explore awareness, connection, emotions, and seek authentic connections.

Come, be part of this unique experience, where we slow down, listen, and savour the richness of the present moment, all while building lasting connections and uncovering the wisdom of the circle.

Space-holder

Hey, I'm Gal Har-Yam, an explorer of meaningful connections between people. I feel that in today’s world, we lack this feeling of being together with ourselves, and with others. that’s why my vision is to help create more deep encounters between people.

My background lies in Tantra therapy and transformative space-holding at Maarag School Conscious Intimacy and Sexuality, and facilitation courses and training at the Nativ International School that focuses on embodiment and somatic experience.

In my free time, I enjoy the simplicity of cuddling and reconnecting with nature. I love outdoor rock climbing. There are special moments where I feel “at one with the rock”. For me, it’s also a deep expression of intimacy. It can be with my self, with others or with the nature.

I invite you to join me on this journey of discovery and connection. Please don't hesitate to get in touch, and together, we can explore the depths of genuine connection.
